Description
8 Checker Walk is a building dating from around 1770. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of chequered brick, featuring brick bands between the storeys and a rubble plinth. The parapet at the top conceals a double roof. There are two windows on the front, which have segmental arches and double hung sash designs with glazing bars, along with a stone keystone above them. The entrance has a six fielded door with a flat wooden hood and a lion mask knocker, accessed by two steps. The ground floor windows are boarded up. This building is part of a group with Nos. 5, 7, and 8.
