Description

Nos. 64 and 68 on Fore Street in Newlyn are early 18th-century buildings constructed from rubble with a slate roof featuring gable ends. They are one storey high with an attic. The first floor has sash windows, while the ground floor features two original two-light casements with glazing bars. There is a wide central recessed doorway with a panelled door. The buildings also include two late 19th-century dormers. At the rear, there is a picturesque yard with open outbuildings supported on rough granite pillars, which were formerly used as pilchard fishery stores. Nos. 68 to 74 (even), the Fisherman's Arms, No. 80, Quay Cottage, and Tonkins Cottage form a group.
