Description
The building at 46 and 47 Baxtergate dates to the 18th century. It is a two-storey structure rendered in a plain finish. The front elevation features three double-hung sash windows; these have four panes on the top floor, without further glazing bars. A stone cornice sits beneath the eaves, and a central open passage is present. A tall gable end is also a prominent feature. The rear of the building exhibits traces of blocked stone mullioned windows. A two-storey extension is attached to the rear of number 47.
