Description
Nos 66 to 68 on Kingsgate Street are two adjoining buildings dating back to 1833, with origins that may trace to the 17th century or earlier. The ground floor is constructed of brick, while the upper storey features a timber-framed structure with roughcast. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic and have undergone alterations in the 19th century, including a gable adorned with applied timbering. The ground floor of the right side has four 19th-century sash windows, and above, there are four more sash windows with glazing bars. Number 68 features a six-panel door set within an architrave surround, topped with a rectangular light. The gable end is tile hung, and the roof is covered with old tiles. These buildings are part of a group of listed structures on Kingsgate Street.
