Description
The New Inn is an 18th-century inn located on Park Lane in Blagdon. It features a long range with a colourwashed render, stone copings, and double Roman tile roofs. The building comprises a two-storey, two-window cottage on the left, a two-storey, three-window main public house in the center, and another two-storey, two-window range on the right. The cottage has small leaded pane casements for the lower windows and two-light early 19th-century casements for the upper storey. The main house includes 19th-century sashes with marginal glazing on the ground floor and two 16-pane sashes flanking a central 12-pane sash on the upper floor. There is a central 20th-century gabled rendered porch with a two-leaf six-panel door. The right-hand section features a mix of 19th-century and 20th-century casement and sash windows. The building is topped with four rendered stacks that have brick caps.
