Outbuilding In Range To North Of St Brandon'S School

The outbuilding located to the north of St Brandon's School on Victoria Road is a Grade II listed structure, likely built in the mid-19th century. It features a corner position at the west end of a range of outbuildings and is designed in a Jacobean style that is similar to the school itself. The building is two stories tall and has a square shape with shaped gables and a tall chimney stack. It is constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and has rusticated quoins. Each story contains one window, which has architrave surrounds on the south side, along with openwork cresting. There is a round-headed doorway in a one-story extension to the right, which also has a shaped gable. The side elevation includes a three-light canted bay with an openwork parapet. This outbuilding, along with St Brandon's School for Girls, the lodge at the north entrance, and the boundary wall at Elton Road, forms a cohesive group.
