Description

The Thatched Cottage, located at 14 Knightstone Road, is a late 18th century building, certainly constructed before 1804. It features a rendered exterior and a thatched roof, standing two storeys high. The cottage has one bay window with original casements. There are later extensions on either side of the thatched section that are not included in the listing. This building is the remaining part of a much larger house that was built for Reverend Leeves and is believed to be the oldest building in Weston-Super-Mare.
