Description
Royal Terrace, located on Knightstone Road, is a building dating from around 1860. The main facade faces south and features a rendered exterior with a slate roof. It stands three storeys high, with advanced central and end pavilions topped by pediments; the end pediments are surmounted by truncated pyramids. The ground floor has a colonnade with a stone and cast iron balustrade, supported by rusticated pillars and topped with a cornice. The first floor has round-headed windows, while the second floor features segmental-headed windows, both adorned with heavy keystones and labels. The casements include heavy transoms, and a bracketed cornice completes the design.
