Description

Thatch End is an attached house dating from the early 19th century. It features flint and banded stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are 19th-century brick stacks at both gables. The house is two storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills. The windows have broadmayne brick dressings with segmental brick window heads. There is a doorway on the north gable end, which has a 20th-century brick porch with a hipped thatch roof. The door is a plank door with ornamental strap hinges, also from the 20th century.
