Description
Cobwebs is a former pair of attached cottages, now combined into one, dating from the mid-18th century. The building features rubble-stone and roughcast walls that are painted. It has a continuous thatch roof that is attached at the left end and gabled at the right end. There are two brick stacks on the ridge, located at the party wall and the right gable. The structure is one and a half storeys high and has six windows. The left-hand cottage has 2-light wooden casements with glazing bars, and there is one dormer with a 2-light casement, leaded on the right half. The central plank door, framed in wood, dates from the 19th century. Cobwebs also has 3-light iron casements with lead lights and three eyebrow dormers featuring 2-, 3-, and 2-light casements. There is a plank door, positioned just left of centre, which is from the 20th century.
