Description

The Old Rectory and Trinity Lodge are a detached house dating to the mid-19th century. The house is constructed of banded stone and flint walls, with a rendered and panelled attic stage above a string-course. It has a slate roof with bracketed eaves and rendered stacks at the gable ends. The building is two storeys and attics, with a symmetrical front facade featuring five windows. The ground floor windows are sash windows with glazing-bars and flush wooden frames. The first floor sash windows have marginal glazing-bars and wooden cills. A central porch shelters a two-leaf, rendered door, which is panelled and of 20th-century origin. Recessed quatrefoils from the 15th century are built into the wall above the front door, on the left and right sides. A service block adjoins the left-hand end; it has rendered walls, a slate roof, a rendered stack on the ridge, and three- and two-light casement windows. A 20th-century service door is also present.
