The rear elevation is colour-washed brick. The buildings are covered by a pitched slate roof with coped gable ends, and feature red brick stacks.

The front of No. 1 has a canted oriel with sash windows and one sash window on the ground floor. No. 2 has a range of 19th-century casement windows and a door with Egyptian-style surrounds. The rear elevation also has a range of 19th-century casement windows, with one contemporary casement on the first floor of No. 1, and one sash window with glazing bars.

An extension to the west of No. 1 includes planked doors on both the ground floor (front) and first floor (side), and a contemporary Yorkshire casement window on the ground floor.
