Description
Nos. 17 and 19 High Street are 18th-century buildings with earlier underlying fabric. They are constructed of red and grey brick, laid in a chequer pattern on No. 17. Both have old tile roofs and moulded brick eaves cornices. No. 17 features a half-glazed door with a plain hood. It has a modern casement window with a segmental arch on the right, and a former shop front on the left, incorporating a glazed door and window beneath a deep painted lintel. A three-light casement window is located to the first floor on the left, with another modern casement on the right. No. 19 has a central four-panel door with a plain hood, and three-light casement windows with segmental arches on either side. Two similar windows are found above.
