Description
Nos 11 and 13 on High Street in Amersham are 17th-century buildings that have been altered. They are rendered and colour-washed, featuring a projecting 19th-century ground floor made of colour-washed brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof. The buildings have an old tile roof with a broad brick chimney stack in the center. They are two storeys high with an attic. The first floor has two modern 3-light casement windows and a small 2-light casement window in the center. On the ground floor, there is a 4-pane wide double-hung sash window on the right, a modern door and window for No 11, and a shop window for No 13. The west gable elevation facing Church Street displays exposed timber framing, with two windows on each floor and a small attic window in the gable.
