Description

Nos 74 and 76 Northgate are 18th-century buildings constructed of coursed rubble with a pantiled roof. They stand two storeys high and feature a brick cornice with modillions at the eaves. The buildings are arranged in three bays: No 74 has cased sash windows with glazing bars, while No 76 has Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor and modern casement windows on the ground floor. The door of No 76 has four flush panels. Additionally, No 74 has a late 19th-century red brick extension, which is not considered of special interest.
