Description

Northgate House is a mid-19th century building constructed from hammer-dressed stone with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features paired brackets at the eaves. The main facade consists of three bays, each with sash windows that have glazing bars and stucco voussoirs. The entrance includes a door topped by an oblong fanlight. There is an 18th-century extension to the south, which is rendered and has ashlar quoins. This extension also stands two storeys high and has a one-bay front with Yorkshire sashes that include glazing bars.
