Description
Beaminster Auto Bodies is an attached former inn dating from the early 19th century. It features a facade made of lias ashlar and a stone plinth, with rubble-stone side walls. The roof is covered with asbestos slate and has gable ends, with one brick stack on each gable. The building stands two storeys high and has three sash windows with glazing bars, each surrounded by ashlar and topped with gauged heads, along with stone cills. To the left, there is an elliptical carriage entrance with rusticated stone jambs and voussoirs. Additionally, there is a segmental arch made of dressed stones that spans a bridge over the river.
