Description

The Old School Room is an attached former school building dating from the early 19th century. It features coursed rubble-stone walls and a pyramidal slate roof, standing two storeys tall. The ground floor has two windows, including a prominent three-light window with a central sash that has glazing bars. This window is framed by a stone architrave with a projecting dropped keystone. The upper floor also has sash windows. The front door, located on the right side of the ground floor, is set within a stone architrave and topped by a completely open stone pediment. The wooden door itself has flush panels and four glass lights. Inside, there are slightly chamfered ceiling beams with run-out stops.
