Description
The front boundary wall and steps to the police station, built in 1906, are made of rock-faced Portland stone. The wall is constructed with regular coursed blocks and features a plain coping, rising approximately 2.2 to 2.5 meters from the pavement level while maintaining a horizontal top. At the near left end, there is a plain dressed opening leading to 11 steps, and at the right end, overlapping the frontage of No. 1, there are 7 steps, with both sets returning parallel to the street. This structure is included for its group value.
