Description
These are detached stables with a loft, located 20 metres south of Easthay House, dating from the early 18th century. The stables feature rubble walls with stone and brick quoins, and have stone gable-copings. The roof is made of slate and the building has a rectangular plan. There is one square window with a wooden frame and wooden lintel, along with a stable door that has brick-dressed jambs. Inside, the stables have square section mid-chamfered beams, and some of the base quoins are made of Blue Lias stone. The stables are included for their group value with Easthay House.
