7, West Street

Number 7 on West Street is an 18th-century building constructed of red brick, featuring yellow brick dressings and quoins. It has a pitched tile roof with stone slates at the eaves and late 19th-century red brick stacks. The building stands two storeys tall with attics and includes a brick modillion eaves cornice. The ground floor has modern shopfronts, while the first floor has three cased sash windows with glazing bars. There are also three attic dormers with tile-hung sides and 19th-century casements. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 29 (odd), with No 29 being of local interest only.
