No 6 West Street is an 18th-century building made of brown brick, featuring red brick dressings and voussoirs. It has a pitched tile roof and a red brick chimney. The building stands two storeys tall with attics, showcasing a moulded and dentilled brick eaves cornice and a coped parapet. The ground floor has been modernized, while the first floor has three cased sash windows. There are two attic dormers with hipped tile roofs, tile-hung cheeks, and sash windows with glazing bars set in moulded frames. The building also displays a badge of the Lord of the Manor. It is part of a group that includes the Red Lion Hotel and Nos 2 to 12 (even).
