Description

South Bridge, dated 1877, is a structure that has been rebuilt as a single reinforced concrete span. It retains its original ornamental cast iron parapets, ashlar piers with pedimented capitals and sunk panels, and hammer dressed stone flanking walls at angles, except on the north-west side, which are coped and ramped to the piers.
