Description
The building known as the House adjoining the King's Head Hotel is a 18th-century structure located on the north side of West Street. It features brick walls, a tiled roof, and brick stacks. The house is two storeys high with an attic. The central doorway has a modern half-glazed door framed by a classical surround, complete with a pedimented hood and pilasters. On the ground floor, there are two canted bay windows with double-hung sashes, which are likely later additions. The first floor includes three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The attic is equipped with two dormers that have hipped roofs and side-hung casements.
