Description

This is a 19th-century house on the north side of West Street. The walls are rendered, topped by a low-pitched slate roof with cast iron cresting above the gutter line. The house has rendered stacks. It is two storeys high. A lean-to verandah extends across the front, featuring a glass roof and ornamental cast iron columns and brackets. The central doorway is round-headed and has a raised panel, part-glazed door. French windows flank the doorway on either side. Above, three double-hung sash windows are visible. Ornamental cast iron cresting runs along the window sills. A low, rendered boundary wall with gate piers and ornamental cast iron railings (gates now missing) originally marked the property line. It is described as a good, unspoiled 19th-century house.
