Description

Wyke Brewery is a mid-19th century industrial building constructed from coursed, squared rubble with tiled roofs and ashlar dressings. It is a fairly large structure designed in the Italianate style, primarily two storeys high with attics and featuring irregular window arrangements. The building includes a central four-stage tower that is pilastered in the upper storey, and there is a first-floor plat band. The windows are semi-circular headed with glazing bars, some of which have relieving arches and keystones. A projecting wooden hoist is present, and the roof features projecting ventilation louvres.
