Description

Wyke Farmhouse is probably a 17th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and rubble, with tiled roofs. The building is approximately 1½ storeys high and has an irregular six-window range. Windows are 2- and 3-light casements, some with leaded lights. A panelled door is located near the centre of the property. Internal features, as documented by the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, include a large open fireplace with a cambered oak bressummer, flanked by an oven and a shell-headed recess, as well as deep chamfered beams.
