Description

The Church of St George in Langham is a memorial chapel built in 1922. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble and features a thatched roof that is hipped to the east and gabled to the west. The building includes a round apse and a north transept, along with a wooden bellcote on the west side. There is an open wooden porch on the north, also thatched. The windows are lancets with diamond-patterned leaded lights, arranged in graduated triplets along the nave. The north doorway is two-centred and chamfered, featuring a plank door. The chapel was built by Mr and Mrs Manger.
