Description

This bridge, located 15 yards northeast of Buddle Bridge, dates from the late 12th century or early 13th century. It is now accessed only from the cellars of Nos 2 and 3 Bridge Street. The bridge features a single span made of rough ashlar, with the outer face of its pointed arch adorned with chevron ornamentation.
