Description
A terrace of four houses, numbers 3 to 6 Cove Row, was built around 1808. The houses are constructed with painted brickwork (number 3) and rendered facades, all topped with slate mansard roofs. Each house is two storeys and has an attic, with a single window front. They feature raking dormers and 4-pane sash windows; number 3 has a 16-pane sash window in a moulded box on the ground floor, while number 5 has a full-height, flat-roofed bay window. Each house has an arched doorway on the left side, with a panelled door in the reveal and a rectangular overlight above, although the door for number 6 is a 20th-century replacement. Prominent stacks are located on the right side of the ridge, with additional stacks at the rear, cropped to number 4. Each house also features a raking dormer. The interior has not been inspected. These are modest houses in a significant location facing the harbour.
