Description
32 St Mary Street is a house with a shop, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building is rendered and features a slate mansard roof. It has a narrow frontage that leads to a deep range, with a double mansard roof over the central valley and an additional T-wing extending to Maiden Street. The structure is three storeys high with an attic and has one window. There is a 6-pane sash dormer situated above a two-storey bow oriel window, which has an arrangement of 8:12:8-pane sashes and a dentil cornice at the upper level. The front of the building includes a full-width 20th-century shop front and there are two gable stacks on the left side. The rear wing features a very steep mansard roof, with one sash window on each level; a 4-pane window in the attic and a 12-pane window below. The interior has not been inspected.
