Description

This is a pair of early 19th-century houses situated in a row on Maiden Street, Weymouth. The houses are rendered and have a slate roof. They are three storeys high with an attic, each house originally featuring a single window. The attic has a flat-roofed dormer window with a casement and nine panes of glass in its reveals. A bow oriel window with eight, twelve, and eight panes of glass sits at the first floor, adorned with dentil cornices. The ground floor originally contained a large, 24-pane display window within pilasters on each side, and a panelled door, accompanied by a plastered fanlight shaped like a shell. A moulded cornice sits above, finished with a blocking course and a moulded coped parapet, with a chimney stack to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
