Railings, piers and gates, C18. Wrought-iron gates and railings on dwarf brick walls with ashlar copings. End ashlar piers with moulded cornices and ball finials. Railings have intermediate scrollwork panels. Gate has scrollwork overthrow. Spike finials to uprights. Gate bears St Loe arms. (RCHM, Dorset, vol. III, p.80, No. 2.)
