Description

Marsh Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with 19th-century additions. It is constructed of rubble walls, topped with a thatched gable-ended roof and brick stacks at the left end of the ranges. The two-storey farmhouse has a five-window front, featuring 2-light casement windows with leaded lights. Historic records (Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, Dorset, volume IV, page 46, number 3) note the presence of stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops inside.
