Description

Bookham Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located in Buckland Newton. The central section is constructed of brick in English bond, while the end sections are made of rubble. It features a thatched roof with gable ends, which include stone stacks at both ends and a stack partway along the ridge. The building has two storeys and a window range of five to six. The windows are two and three-light casements with glazing bars. There is a 19th-century porch and a 20th-century front outshut on the left side. Inside, the farmhouse has deep chamfered beams with run-out stops and an open fireplace in the south end wall.
