Description

This is a nonconformist chapel with an attached chapel house, now a private residence. The building likely originated in the 18th century and was enlarged in 1824, as recorded by the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments. It is constructed of rubble stone with a half-hipped slate roof and brick stacks on the cottage section. The chapel gable faces the road. The chapel has round-headed windows featuring simple Y-tracery and diamond lattice glazing bars; one window facing the road is a 20th-century replacement without glazing bars. A round-headed doorway is located on the south side. The two-story cottage section has irregular window placement, featuring two-light casements with horizontal glazing bars.
