Description

Llyn-y-Pandy Calvinistic Methodist Chapel, built in 1819, features roughly squared rubble and a slate roof, with a brick chimney on the attached chapel house. The front elevation includes a gabled brick porch with a late 19th-century door to the left, a pair of tall 12-pane sash windows with margin lights and painted stone lintels, and a blocked door to the right. Between the windows is a stone plaque with an inscription that is now illegible. To the right of the chapel is a lower two-storey chapel house with a 19th-century door and later 20th-century windows, along with an attached outbuilding. The left-hand return elevation is rendered and has two tall multipaned windows with margin lights beneath arched brick heads.

The rubble retaining wall features a central wrought iron gate adorned with Fleur-de-Lys finials. The chapel is said to have an intact later 19th-century furnishing scheme.
