Description

TRENT ST 5818-5918 - 18/169 Two Monuments 9 metres north-west of west end of nave of Church of St Andrew GV II Two Table-Tombs. Early-mid C18. Each of Ham stone with two Blue Lias panels to each side, with late ovolo-mouldings for framing. Moulded cornices and hipped top blocks. 1) South,"to Henry Andrews of Preston, son of Henry and Aves Andrews of Rimpton died March 14 1759, aged 53" ... 2) North. This has a cracked top block and illegible inscriptions owing to weathering.
