Description
Acorn Cottage is a mid 19th-century cottage constructed from banded flint and brick, featuring brick quoins. It has a gabled slate roof with a brick stack on the right side. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range. The upper floor and the right side of the ground floor have 2-light casements with glazing bars. The ground floor right window has a brick soldier course, while the left side has a wooden lintel, and the upper floor windows have segmental brick heads. There is a gabled porch that is part-glazed, with a part-glazed door. Both the dormers and the porch are adorned with moulded barge boards. The cottage is included for its group value.
