Description

Downbarn Cottage is a mid-19th century building located on Boarhunt Road. It is constructed of coursed flint with red brick quoins and window dressings, topped with a slate roof. The cottage stands two storeys high and features three windows, with the outer bays advanced under gables. The windows are 19th-century casements with lozenged glazing and dripstone moulds. There is a central door that is sheltered by a glazed porch. Originally, Downbarn Cottage was two separate cottages.
