Description

The Old Forge, also known as Three Horseshoes, is a cottage that likely dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed from greensand and flint and features a thatched roof with a gable on the right side and a half-hipped roof on the left. There is a brick chimney stack located on the right side and another partway along the ridge on the left. The building has one and a half storeys and is approximately three windows wide, with 2-light casements that include horizontal glazing bars. Inside, there are two stop-chamfered beams.
