Description

No. 2 Briantspuddle is a detached cottage likely dating from the 17th century. It is built of plastered cob walls and has a thatched roof with a brick stack. The cottage originally comprised two rooms. A modern lean-to extension has been added to the rear, featuring a corrugated asbestos roof. The cottage is two storeys high, with a ledged door fitted with a glass panel and two casement windows on each floor, each with cast iron lights. Ground-floor windows and the door are topped by oak lintels. Inside, the main ground-floor room contains a large open fireplace and exposed ceiling beams.
