Description

The bridge over the River Piddle is a road bridge, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed from ashlar stone and features six semi-circular stone arches, each adorned with pendant keystones. The arches are separated by projecting stone cutwaters that rise to create refuges in the parapets. At both ends of the bridge, the parapets curve outward and are terminated by square piers.
