Description

The Post Office and Village Store in Milton Abbas is a detached cottage, part of which is used as a shop. It dates from around 1780 and features plastered cob walls, a hipped thatched roof, and brick end stacks. The building is two storeys high. There is a part-glazed door, with a projecting shop window to the right of it. To the left of the door, there is a cross-pattern window with lead lights. On the first floor, there are three casement windows, also with lead lights.
