Description

This is a detached stable block with a 16th-century core, significantly restored and with new windows in the 19th century. The building is constructed of rubble stone with ashlar dressings, and has a roof covered with stone slate, featuring stone gable copings and moulded kneelers. It is two stories high and has three windows, each with three lights and hollow-chamfered stone mullions, fitted with iron casements and lozenge-leaded lights. A central door has straight-chamfered jambs and a depressed-arch head, leading to a two-leaf plank door dating back to the 19th century. The north gable wall contains an entrance with moulded jambs and a depressed arch head. The stable block is located 30 metres northeast of The Manor House.
