Description

Rock House is a detached house built around 1820. It features ashlar stone walls that are keyed and a slate roof with stone gable copings. The house has two storeys and three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars and stone voussoirs above. The heavy sash boxes have wooden cills. The front door is centrally located and has six recessed panels along with a stilted segmental fanlight above, both dating from the 19th century. At the rear, there is a continuous outshut under a catslide roof.
