Description

The northern section of the churchyard wall at the Church of St Andrew in Weymouth dates back to the 15th century. This short length of wall, approximately 4 meters long on each side of the northern entrance to the church, is constructed from rubble and features squared rubble with heavy roll and saddle-back coping, standing about 1.5 meters high. While most of the wall surrounding the churchyard is of a much later date, this small section holds significant historical interest.
