On the south elevation, which faces the courtyard, the ground floor includes one fixed window, one horizontally sliding sash window with a center bar, and one casement window with a center bar. There is a single-storey brick lean-to extension on the north side and a later brick porch on the west gable wall. To the south of the cottage, at the east end, is an attached single-storey range of farm buildings made of brick and flint, topped with a double Roman tiled roof.
