Description
Newlands Inn is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of Newland. It is two storeys high and features a three-window stone front. The building has a slate gabled roof with a stone slate verge. The windows are primarily sash windows with glazing bars, except for the left-hand end where there is a two-light wood casement window above and a modern window below. To the east of the left-hand ground floor window, there is a doorway with double half-glazed doors. At the right-hand end, there is a splayed bay with a three-light sash window on the ground floor. The doorway has a hood supported by brackets and features a six-panelled door, with the lower two panels covered. Above the doorway, there is a wrought iron bracket with a scroll design. Newlands Inn is part of a group that includes Nos 100 to 116 (even).
