Description

St Martins, located at No 121 Newland, is a building dating from around 1850. It is two storeys high with an attic and features a three-window front. The lower part of the building is roughcast, while the upper section is constructed from coursed and random rubble. The central section of the facade projects slightly forward. It has wide eaves and one dormer. The central doorway has a segmental head with fluted linings in the reveals, and it contains a six-panelled door topped with a fanlight that has fine tracery. The roof is covered with slate. Nos 119 to 123 (odd) are part of a group of buildings.
